#3 Moms, We’ve Got Exclusive Resources for YOU!

Hey there, mom of tweens!

I see you. You don’t need to belong to one more thing. I get it. That’s why each week you’ll get an email with suggestions of how to help your tween apply what they learned in the Life Skills Club meeting.

The Empowerment Matrix we use in the Life Skills Club is amazing. And your tween will practice scenarios with their peers each week. But they’ll also need to practice at home.

That’s the benefit, right?!

They’ll ‘practice’ putting clothes in their hamper instead of on the floor.

They’ll ‘practice’ having a discussion instead of slamming the door to their room.

They’ll ‘practice’ being focused on their schoolwork instead of stretching a 30-minute assignment into 3 hours.

Imagine it!

  • Less picking up after your tween.
  • Less stressful decision-making.
  • Less nagging about schoolwork.

Parenting the tween years means a transition from caregiver to coach.

This is why you’ll get resources to coach your tween on the skills they learn in The Life Skills Club. Reinforce what they’ve learned and celebrate each badge they earn.

And when you want to connect with other moms, just like you, who want their tweens to become independent learners so they can THRIVE, hop into the Tween Talk Facebook community and enjoy a conversation there.

“We are so happy to have these [writing] classes as part of our homeschooling schedule. My kids look forward to each class!” ~ Sarra E.

“Mrs. G is kind and encouraging, and the kids really like her.” ~ Kendra B.

“What an awesome [Home Alone] course you facilitate. So informative and perfect for young kids to understand.” ~ Holly G.

Meet the Creator of The Life Skills Club

Hi! I’m Marina Gabor – Life skills coach, educator, and Founder of Tween Talk: Empowering Moms to Raise Independent Kids. I live in Armstrong, British Columbia, with my husband & 3 teenage daughters.

I wake up every day passionate about helping kids learn the core life skills that will help them lead successful lives. I want to help bring harmony to your home and ease the angst of the tween years.

These days, I love hanging out with my teenage daughters, BUT there was a time not long ago when things were tense around our house.

When had my first daughter, I swore I would never be one of those parents that bemoaned the teen years. I knew that building relationships during the tween years (when they still thought I knew the answers) was key.

My hypothesis has proved right. We’re enjoying a (mostly) harmonious household with everyone pitching in and doing their part. I’m convinced it’s because of how we handled the tween years.

I’d love for you and your tween to use The Life Skills Club and the exclusive Moms of Tweens Community to help you create a home where your tween can become the young person they were created to be.

They’re amazing. And so are you.

~ Marina Gabor

When are the Life Skills Club meetings?
(And answers to other important questions…)

We meet (virtually) on Tuesdays from 4 – 5pm PST.

The Life Skills Club is month-to-month (no contracts), and if you don’t feel like your tween is getting insane value from being part of the fun and encouraging Life Skills Club community, you can cancel anytime.

The Life Skills Club is for tweens and early teens ages 9-13.

No. Each student needs their own membership. And that’s why we made the membership so affordable, so it would work – even for families with multiple tweens.

The replay of the weekly lesson will be added to The Life Skills Club portal and available to club members by Friday of each week. To protect the privacy of other students, the interactive scenario practice and games are not included in the replay.

You’ll get member pricing if your tween has an active Life Skills Club membership. You’ll get a special coupon code to use on upcoming courses.

Your child is welcome to attend every session but feel free to pick and choose the sessions that work best for your family schedule. Each session’s lesson stands alone, so your child will always finish a session with a new micro-skill they can add to their life skills toolbox.
